The Salsa Underground @ Penn Society. "All White" party!
This Labor Day I had a blast getting to once again collaborate with Salsa412. Penn Society is a private venue not normally open to the public. But for the Salsa Underground Series, they were ready to open their doors and allow the dancers in Pittsburgh to enjoy their beautiful location!
I was hired to do the photography and it was a blast. Being as there were no windows and not many lamps, I ended up using over 6 different flashes to give the custom look that Salsa412 has come to expect from me!
The theme of the night was "All White Clothing" which really gave this night a great vibe! Hope you enjoy the pictures!

Downtown Dance Session with Emily
Emily and I went downtown to get updated Dance and Head Shots at the Pittsburgh T Station!
I recently did an awesome shoot with my good friend Emily. She wanted to get updated Dance and Head Shots. She already had a lot of studio pictures, so she wanted something a little more urban and I knew the perfect place. The only bad part? It might be a little cold this time of the year.....
LOL and cold it was! I was chilly in my jacket and gloves so I know she had to be freezing but she was a trooper and we got all the shots we needed! Everyone getting on and off at the T Station would cheer for her, making it all the more fun!
The Winter Warmup: Steel City Kizomba
The Winter Warmup Workshop for Semba dance presented by Steel City Kizomba!
Had the opportunity to shoot for Steel City Kizomba at their event: The Winter Warmup.
Steel City Kizomba teaches Kizomba Dance. The Winter Warmup featured Baixinho Do Semba, Upa Dancarina, and Benga DaBeatz teaching Semba, Afro House, and Tarraxinha!
Dance: Pittsburgh Touch
Pictures from the first dance performance of the group Pittsburgh Touch. They will be competiting in Miami at the end of the month!
Believe it or not, but Pittsburgh has a THRIVING Latin Dance Community! This shoot was at the first performance for the new group Pittsburgh Touch at Absolute Ballroom.
Their performance was awesome to see, and we took advantage of the "festive outfits" for some Couples Posing after the Event. They will be performing in Miami later this month so lets all wish them Good Luck!
