Pittsburgh Family Photography Information & Packages
General Information
Pittsburgh is one of the best places for Family Photography! We are a very family friendly town and have great options for all 4 seasons. When capturing a family session, we always plan ahead to find the best time of day that will work with your schedule. During a session, we make sure to get a great mixture of posed classic portraits, and also a mix of the fun “candid” in-between moments. We will also set aside time to make sure everyone gets an individual portrait, as well as different combinations, such as all the kids with dad, all the kids with mom, all the boys, all the girls, everyone with grandma, ect.
Location Options for Family Photo Sessions
- On Location: Many of our clients have grown up here and love to have their loved ones important milestones and memories documented. From the iconic Bridges in the North Shore, to the lush greenery of our many parks and gardens, and to the history and elegance of our landmarks and museums, Pittsburgh has so many awesome backdrops to choose from.
- At Home: For a more personal touch, we can come and photograph you and your family at your home. Many have created the perfect setting and feel the most comfortable there. It also works well for newborns and younger kids and you dont have to worry about transportation, traffic, or bystanders.
- In Studio: Another great option is to have family pictures taken at a Studio. Pittsburgh has lots of awesome studios that are picture perfect and offer a controlled environment where we dont have to worry about crowds, traffic of the weather. From a clean backdrop to different couches, chairs, and props, Studios in Pittsburgh give us tons of options.
Studio Rental Fees per Hour
Monday - Thursday: $100
Friday - Sunday: $150

Mini Family Session: $350
- Up to 20 Minutes, 1 Location, 1 Outfit, and 25 Images to be Edited & Released to Family
Standard Family Session: $500
-1 Location, 1 Outfit, up to 45 Minutes, and 50 Images to be Edited & Released to Family
Plus Family Session: $700
- Up to 2 Locations, 2 Outfits, 2 Hours and 100 Images to be Edited & Released to Family
All Inclusive Family Session: $1,750
- 3 Locations, 3 Outfits, 3 Hours,150+ Images to be Edited & Released to Family
